The Un homme mort interactive project aims to use the popularity of a television drama series to create a fun Website that will entice amateur sleuths to track a plethora of clues throughout a multi-platform media network. Simple, yet complex, this multimedia experience uses both the television series and the Web to create various links between the many available media platforms, such as television, the Web, printed matter, illico, video-on-demand, e-mail and telephone.

Everyday, Flash brings light on the artistic world and its stars, at home and abroad, in all aspects: cinema, music, theatre, shows, books, fashion, etc. Hosted by Patricia Paquin, Flash sends its reporters behind the scenes at launches, galas, opening nights, movie sets and on the most glamorous red carpets around the world where with the famous “yellow mic” on hand they interview the public’s favorite stars. The reference for artistic news in Quebec, Flash won the 2005 Gémeaux Award for Best cultural magazine.
flashmag.ca is a dynamic Website high in colors with content reaching beyond the show. This Web magazine was designed to facilitate the exploration, discovery, and consumption of Quebec’s culture. Because a community strives to reunite people sharing common interest, activities or ideas, the community aspect was key when developing flashmag.ca. Thus, as the basis of the project, culture becomes in some ways the ultimate community as it can only exist with and for the community. The objective is therefore to make it the center of Flash’s Interactive Components feature development.
