REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
Step one: Submitting documents electronically

Make sure each required document is labeled with the suggested titles:
1. The application form (in Excel format);
2. The complete summary, not exceeding three (3) pages, including the main elements for evaluating the television project and the interactive multimedia component;
3. The complete description of the project (synopsis, treatment, scenario and paper model);
4. A detailed description of the ITV components and other platforms;
5. The description of the distribution means synchronization;
6. The navigation architectures;
7. The development and production timetable;
Step two: Submitting documents in hard copy
Please assemble the form and required documents mentioned above in ring binders and submit three (3) copies of each. We also recommend using tab dividers. The following additional documents must be sent with your submission:
8. A brief presentation of the applicant, the project and how the project complements the applicant's activities for growth;
9. A description, not exceeding two (2) pages, presenting the development and production team with short biographical notes;
10. A copy of the letters of agreement and relevant contracts, including the PU’s broadcasting licence, the written commitment by the PU to the effect that it will broadcast the production in Canada within two (2) years from the end of production, the service agreement with a high-speed Internet service provider, the agreement for any other platform, if applicable;
11. In the case of an international co-production under an official agreement, a copy of the request to Telefilm Canada for an anticipatory decision or a copy of the decision itself;
12. Proof of financing;
13. The detailed distinct budgets for each of the two (2) main components. For the linear television component, please identify the costs allocated to traditional television and, if applicable, VOD and mobile terminals (e.g. phones, game consoles, portable digital players, etc.). For the interactive component, please segregate the costs associated with the Web, ITV, VOD and mobile terminals (to be identified for each aspect, if applicable). We strongly suggest using the budget templates proposed by Canada Media Fund;
14. A copy of the applicant’s constituting acts and articles of incorporation, indicating incorporation under Canada’s laws and Canadian control;
15. The most recent audited financial statements;

To assist us in evaluating your project, you can also submit the following documents, if applicable:
16. A detailed presentation of the applicant as well as a list of previous accomplishments;
17. The applicant’s business plan;
18. The market study on the project;
19. The marketing plan.
